Games Galore at the MILUG Year-End Gathering!
At the end of each year, MILUG holds a gathering to celebrate our members and our successes as a club. The year-end gathering is an opportunity to have fun and to connect with members outside of our standard meetings and events. The event last around 7 hours and members enjoy various games, trading, and a potluck. We had 26 people attend this year and although we tried a new venue, the Rotary Field House at the Serauxmen Sports Fields, we learned we will need a bigger space next year!
Although we didn’t have time for all the planned games, members were able to participate in Minifigure Bingo (courtesy of our friends at LOLUG in Nebraska), individual box build, team relay, individual speed build, standing build, and team speed non-dominant.
Winners of each event won a small LEGO prize. Congrats to the winners!

We also held our annual set draft at the end of the evening to thank members for their contribution over the year. The more members participate (building and volunteering) throughout the year, the more “brick bucks” they have to spend in the draft when it is their turn to select a LEGO set. It’s always a great way to end the evening!
